Sam’s teaching expertise and research interests include: the contemporary self-care movement and the activist histories of care; pedagogies of care and care praxis in the social justice classroom; abolition and 残疾 justice; feminist/womanist epistemologies and pedagogies; DIY grassroots activism; transgender studies and the LGBT+ archives.
